plus another reason for Armin being on a Wednesday night is because 1150 is only 21 and up on the weekends. So Devin and and the 1150 are being so nice to let in the folks that are under 21 to see this very special show!

Devin dosen't even like trance, he just brings names that will make money. When was the last decent Liquified trance show that wasn't Tiesto? (I don't consider PVD to be trance)
Liquified has been pure prog/nubreed for almost 2 years now and they snatched Armin and Ferry and stuck them on weekdays. I only have so much vacation time and they're making me take it all :whip:

exactly. while I'm elated that Armin is finally coming to Atlanta, it sucks that it's a Liquified show. they absolutely blow... always taking weekday dates, picking crappy clubs like Eleven50 and closing off half the club for overpriced VIP tickets, swooping the DJ away to "exclusive" afterparties right after their sets...

thank God for Maddhatterradio :) at least SOMEONE in ATL brings quality talent to quality shows ;)

Lets look at this for a minute. And this is in no way a jab in any sort of way at maddhatter. Wasn't maddhatters last two shows on weekdays? Wasn't one of maddhatters last two shows on a weekday at eleven50, marco v i believe it was. So whats the difference?

Closing off half the club? That balcony area doesn't even take up a 1/6 of the club.

As far as swooping dj's off to "exclusive" afterparties, your kidding right? The only afterparty that i have been to all year with a dj that i have brought in, any afterparty for that matter, was in july and we went over to the crescent room for a couple of drinks with a long time friend of ours who has been playing for us for 9 years now before going home and going to bed. Please, what other "exclusive" afterparties have we been swooping the dj's off to?

This is funny at best.

I've been called worse, thats alright. Thats your opinion and you think i am an then so be it, i can live with it.

I don't even like trance? you obviously don't know me to well or at all for that matter, because if you did you would know that i like ALL kinds of music, not just 1 genre. It would be pretty closed minded to like only 1 genre don't you think? We at Liquified bring all kinds of talent which is pretty obvious in my upcoming calendar. In the next few months we have DJ hype, Scott Bond, Sandra Collins, Jeno, Thomas, Icey, Kazell, Timo Maas, Lee Burridge, Dylan, technical Itch, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, George Acosta, Ferry Corsten, Andy C., and many more unannounced as of yet.

Prog/nu breed for almost two years? Liquified has been bringing ALL kinds of music for almost 9 years now. Do you even know the Liquified history of the past 9 years? All those "prog" dj's pretty much all played trance at one time or another but their styles and sounds progressed. Thats 9 years of bringing "trance", as you put it, to atlanta and all over the US. We have built up a great relationship with a lot of great dj's and we will continue bringing them back to atlanta even though they arn't playing "trance" (very broad term these days if you ask me).

But "Trance" or "prog" is not the only thing we bring. We bring all genre's. Where were you when we brought cosmic baby live for the first time or Blue Amazon, or all 3 memebers of Tilt. Where were you when we had Dubtribe Live along side John Digweed or Rabbit in the Moon. Where were you when we were the first people to bring Tiesto to Atlanta, or Sasha or Doc martin. What about Carl Cox, Jim Masters, Uberzone, Mark Farina, Josh Wink, Garth, Jeno, Thomas, Mr. C, James Zabiela, Terry Francis, Eddie Richards, Natan Coles, DJ Dan, Joey Beltram, Fabio, Dara, Dieselboy, Kemal, Grooverider, Hybrid, The ENTIRE moontribe dj's, Andy C, Hype, Adam Freeland, and the list goes on and on, larger then you probably know. We have been pushing the boundries in all GENRE'S here for 9 years, always bringing in fresh and new talent. Not just prog and nu breed dj's. Your accusations are humorous.

As far as "snatched". Thats pretty funny, we didn't snatch anything, we have worked very hard over the past 9 years to build up a following and great reputation with dj's and managers. We snatched nothing, we were choosen to do the events that you say we "snatched".

I don't mind your opinions on me or the actual parties we throw because they are your opinions, just get your facts straight if you are going to comment on them. But obviously we must be doing something right or these dj's would not want to play for us again and these managers would not want to keep having these dj's play for us.

Well even if they're not grateful, I am!!! I already told Armin I'm attending this, and the fact that it's on a weeknight means I'll be able to fly in with an Air Tran X-fare :) yayy!!
Thank you so much!!! :D
Can't wait to meet up again with Armin in ATL :D
