Wow.

Preety muched summed it up.

OMG!!! That was one of the most powerful trance sets i have heard. I had a few words to him before he played and after getting a few records signed:gsmile: said it might be hard to follow Nervous after a more hard trance set by him. I was proven wrong ofcourse and steve had the whole place pumping start to finish. I had a stich i was dancing so hard at the end. This may be the start of the trance revolution in sydney as im sure a few of the HARD heads have now been converted back to the true trance sound.

Journey of Life....words cannot express my excitement when he played this. It sounded so good on a big system or any system for that matter.

Also Ronski speed- Iris was played and im sure that was the ronski speed mix of 1998. EON- Pocket damage got played aswell.

All up a great night. Lets just hope the next Halcyon gets some rewards from steves amazing set (in terms of people numbers).

Soz i couldnt come wax but i had my best mates 21st and that didnt finish till 2, so i didnt see much poiont in coming after STeve had finished!!! Went to Reason though and that was a TOP nite!!! Robbie Lowe was amazing as always and scott oliver was pumping out the goods!! Not too mention Tony delivering some amazing Trance out in the back room - Speak in Sympathy - phworrrrr!!!:gsmile: :gsmile:

All of the djs that i saw impressed the out of me - Scott Baker, Italic, Pete heery, but the top 3 - amazing sets for each of em!!! Keep up the good work Reason!!!

I was @ Reason for most of the night and ended up writing mostly about that :P

Turns out 1 person was allowed in after me it was that full, timing was great walked down the stairs of gas and was greeted by some beautiful Uplifiting Trance. Steve played an awsome set, with all the Halcyon crew there loving it. The crowd was a bit dodgy/standard progress crew, but well, they were all well behaved and quite friendly regaredless of looks :) Steve played slightly over time, but really, it seemed like a 30 min set. His mixing was on the whole time, nothing spectacular, but it was much better then I was expecting after fearing he had become a father. Steve was really enjoying the venue and the crowd and was always bouncing about sometimes no longer able to hold his excitment and jumping around with the crowd :).

His tracks include:-
Push - Strange World
Binary Finary - 1998
Darren Tate and Jono Grant - Noctournal Creatures
Signum - Push Through
Pulser - My Religion
Midway - Amazon
Thrillseekers - Synesthisia
Ronski Speed - Iris
Solid Globe - North Pole

Which as you can see, he played old, new AND unreleased. After him Jumping Jack came on and played some really nice trance as well (inc a track I owned - Solar Factor - No Return); a pity he doesn't play this style more.

The rest of the review is here :)
