My tip: open with the breakdown of a track...that way you can get into your 1st mix quicker...

i've actually got the final of a half hour comp this wednesday down here. I'm gonna be using known acapellas as i know no-one else wil do that. I would be interested to hear what you guys are doing to impress in your half an hour? :)

edit: maybe tell me after saturday? :haha:

haha i was at uni the other day (thats suprising in its self...) and saw a quicksilver dj competition which had a HUGE time limit of 10 minutes. I figured that i wouldnt even need to put a second vinyl on the other deck if entered that :)

Basing dj competitions off a 10 minute scratch session is a bit lame imo.
