Personally i rate zabielas set from perth better than that canberra one. Shame it wasnt ripped. How did the one canberra get recorded? I imagine this didnt happen...

Actually James was really nice about it and was more then happy for Grant to record it straight from the outputs on his laptop!!! The Sydney set was also recorded onto DAT but Ben Korbel (i think it was Ben that was in charge of recording - might be wrong) is being a tosser and not releasing it! :rolleyes:
James is one of the nicest guys in the music industry so he would never have told peeps to off, though he might have said no if there were technical issues (which there wasnt in this case)...
So yeah James Zabiela rocks and the set was recorded direct from outputs to laptop.... any questions?? :D |

The guy who recorded it is on ITM - I think his nick on there is Grant (but don't quote me on that).....it was done direct to laptop - we were all keepin a close eye on it all night *lol* I'm not sure quite how he got permission, but I do know the Cbr promoter, and he's a really easy-going nice guy - so is Zabiela himself, so I'm not surprised that they okayed it and had no prob with it :) Ask him for details on ITM :) |
