| somehow i ed up and couldn't work out how to do something so I now have two teams. However Ghostface (not Ghostface_)has no players and now I can't log in to that profile to delete it. Jizza, if you could delete it that would be barra. |

| just selected my team people. Can someone explain the finer points of the game and how it works. Never played before so some helpful tips from you girls would be appreciated :) |

ok its pretty simple really. the aim of the game is to score the most points. the stats you already see are from last season's comp. as you can see the strikers get the most points cos the highest points tend to be allocated to the attacking category, ie. 6pts for a goal, 3 pts for assist, 2 pts for shot on goal (thats why Henry kills em, he shoots, scores and sets up goals EVERY GAME).
so conversely you'll lose points for misdemeanours such frees against, cards, own goals (big no no - 8points). the keeper also incurs points for either a loss (- 6 points) or a win (+ 6 points) and if he has a blinder, a clean sheet is worth an extra 3 points. but for EACH goal conceded he loses 6 points, so even if he wins but yet conceded 3 goals in doing so, he aint gonna get many points in the end.
with the market value , it goes up or down depending on that players last performance. for example, if you got Van Nistelroy for 22 and he goes and scores 9 goals his value will rocket up. which means if you offload him and then wanna get him again, you'll have to pay that NEW market price - not that 22 you paid along time ago. conversely if they have a one, there value will go down so u can either get rid of em OR choose "update unit value", what this does is shows that player at there new lower price and the amount that he lost can go towards any other position on your team.
