well we have a week off til matches resume, im glad cos i need to regain my composure and shake off this filthy week 4 i've just had.
resisted: sorry for not telling you earlier but the best defenders are usually worth a truckload (sometimes equivalent to a midfielder), the trick is to stock em while they were still cheap, ie. in the first couple of weeks. now the good defenders (or any player for that matter) will hover around the current market value they're at unless they pull in an absolute shocker.
my defense of tarnat, campo and carr are worth 25 now, whereas i got them while they were collectively worth 8. you can still get good defenders but you're gonna have to go with your gut feel and pick the right ones each week. hope that helps.

btw schwarzer hasn't being playing that badly, its just his team can't win. yeah sure he's conceded too many goals but once his defence and the rest of the team play well, so will he.
