Old Skool club rockers are in for another treat as San Trancisco returns to Room 680 on Friday 15th August for another night of glitz, glamour, and awesome tunes.
Representing a journey through the history of trance, San Trancisco brings you a slice of local history. Legendary club nights with the music that was played by the actual dj's of the time, this is the closest you'll get to hearing what it was actually like in the golden era of clubbing 1995 - 2001.
Represented this time are Mark James (The Mansion), Matt Crawford (Run), Jason Prior (Liquid), Peter Mac (Monkey), and Dj Kat (Dome). San Trancisco has built a solid following of those who were around in the day, and also a younger crowd who also enjoy the classic tunes, and amazing atmosphere.
San TranDisco side room presents Liz Millar, Gavin Keitel, and Kane playing classic house and disco to have you funking the night away.

| cant wait for it, went to the last one and saw Matt Crawford tear down the roof!! People dont miss out on San Tran, as they are definitely rocking parties. Also looking forward to seeing Gavin Keitel rock the side room!! |

sounds good, though i dont think ill ever attend a san tran simply because all those songs i had heard to death when i was out djing with my brother when i was too young to remember. not to say that they arent good, just that ive had a gutful.
though the title 'santransisco' by punchenella will always stand as one of my favourites =).
good to see people paying homage to the music that laid foundation for today's scene. |

OOOO I love this night, lets just say that Santrancisco 1 got me into the scene i am in today, ie: it kick started my clubbing experiances.
SanTran 04 is not just music, lasers, people and substance. it is a place to remaniss (Spelling = failed) a place to reflect on all the good things that the trance culture really originated from, its a night dedicated to the way it was and the way it should still be. At the last San Tran, Sample Gee was tearing up the decks, and he did it well. Cmon TranceAddicts, if you like your trance, where is the support?? for all young-guns its like celebrating your Grandads Birthday, but the way you want it to be.
Its a night that celebrates all that is good......and all that is good is TRANCE.

| I believe the best part about this Santrancisco in particular, is the fact that it showcases Melbourne DJ's (not internationals) that have been part of the trance scene since it's inception in Melbourne (a few that are missing IMO are Billy Solos, Shaun Reed and Sean Quinn (Mansion days...memories of armin - blue fear and bt - flaming june/remember...classics!!!'97/98)). Should be good to hear some of those classics once again with hopefully the same crowd (along with the new) that appreciated trance as we first discovered it in 'Melbourne'. Should be a corker! :happy2: |
