Okay; I stayed up last night to catch ASOT 105. While I was in the IRC channel I pesterered E-vanglist to replay it for those of us who cannot stay up every Thursday until 4am. He announced between two of the tracks that he's willing to do it for us, and most of Asia now that I think of it. He mentioned he'd play it 12hrs later which is 3.30pm for us; still isn't ideal for those that work but better than nothing. I did ask for a 17 hr later replay in one of the threads on these boards; hopefully he reads it and we get a replay at 8.30/9pm.
Whether this will be a regular thing I don't know. He'd have to answer that.

I've spoken to Evan a few times before. He's a champ! :) My fav streaming site these days, just wish I had more bandwidth to share on his site.
Would be good to get re-broadcasts during our days. The vibe won't be the same.
The other thing, it's normally only 24 hours until it's downloadable, would you rather stream it or d/l it? I know what I'd prefer.....

Well, I didn't know it was so easy to download. I'd prefer a stream myself. If it costs ETS too much to stream; like if they're going out of their way to stream it for us then I guess I can make do with d/l if I can find it.
No, it's not really the same, but only if you're keen on getting into the chat thing while it's on and talking to some artists. I was having trouble keeping up with what was being said last night - very crowded, and mostly inane banter anyway. I just want the music.
I'd like to see it done for at least a few weeks to see what kind of response there is. I know I want it. |

hey everybody!! of course I am always thinking about my australian and far east listeners :) Two of my original listeners back when my station had like 10 listeners capacity are Aussie :)
Some clarification: When I stream A State of Trance LIVE it is live from holland... 20:00 holland time is 14:00 on the east coast of america, and I'm not sure what that is Australia but I know it's very late. After the live show I always replay the PREVIOUS week's show... some people missed it, some people want to hear it again.. n any case I will by happy to have another replay of the PREVIOUS week show at whatever time is convenient for my Aussie listeners.. just let me know... discuss it here I guess and ask your friends or whatever and let me know what the best time you all decide is.
I cannot replay the "live" or current week show because I do not record it and it takes me a couple days to get the mp3s... but worst case you'll only be a week behind :)
don't forget www.nu-horizons.com and www.livesets.net usually have the A State of Trance shows available for download at 192kbps within a day or two |

Yeah i would just rathe download it than listen to a not live stream, wouldnt be the same.
Maybe if we pester armin with enough emails he'll reschedule his show for about midday over there so we get it aroun 8 oclock here?? Sounds good to me. :toothless :toothless |
