But may I iterate that DJs are critical because they are listening rather than just hearing, and furthermore because they strive for perfection in the form of the elusive "seamless mix". Even John '00' Flemmings latest God's Kitchen CD has ordinary mixes when one listens critically (eg. the mix to "Summer Calling" and from "Positron 2002" to "Sound of Goodbye").

I TOTALLY agree that DJ's are really picky when listening 2 mixes; for the reason's u've given. I've only listened to Nyana 2 times as it's full of shoddy mixing (some i swear aren't even beat matched!).
I do agree everyone listens to it, as it's full of top tracks, and really made my morning :)
