disppearing hard dive!!!!

I don't get it!!!! Out of nowhere I'll boot up with both of my hard drives. then out of nowhere the second one... D: will disappear from the system!!! I try to scan for it inthe device manager, but no luck!!! only when I reboot does it come back!!
how do I fix this??? I have 7 gigs of MP3s on that drive that I can't lose.!!! |

| can you open up your case and check that the ribbon cable is firmly in place on the drives? |

| Yep, loose cables might do that kinda things. U should also check the BIOS settings on ur motherboard. |
