i am wanting to move to vancouver from the states but i dont know if i should sell my car or not.How is the public transportation there? Do most of the citizens there drive or use public transportation.

I dont drive but my only complaint is that transist isn't 24/7 which sometimes leaves you stranded...but other than that I would say it is very efficient.

We have one of the highest number of cars per person ratio in North America. Transit is good though too.

i can bike everywhere in less than 20 minutes

actually, transit here kinda sux ass
i lived in montreal for a while, and transit there is AWESOME, you can get to any part of the island at pretty much any time with no problems
in vancouver, transit can be rather expensive, it takes forever to get places, and buses and skytrain dont go to many parts of the vancouver area.
thats just my personal take on this. i drive everywhere. if the transit system was better, i'd bus :\
