Well, that just sucked major ass... Bought a ticket for this party so hyped to see JTD, Anne Savage, and Frankie Bones. Make a trip from Whistler to Vancouver, call the info-line to find out party is cancelled. Argh! Very Dissapointing, but I guess this just tells ya, the party scene is definitely on the brink of death or is dead, especially when a lineup like that gets cancelled. Discouraging. As for Tickets? Just hold onto them? I hope this DOES NOT happen at IMF on Sept 6th. I am DYING to see DuMonde!!!! Almost 1 more month to go!!!

| IMF will go off for sure. For one it's in Vancouver and not Chiliwack, which means the kids that can't drive can get there for sure. Also, IMF has more "appealing" headliners to a lot of people. Darude may not be a draw for many TAs, but he will be for people who know nothing about trance, and it's the people that know nothing that usually make up the majority of the party. |
