Hey guys
I've got a few house parties comin up and I was wondering what tracks has everyone had really good reactions or experiences with for these? I have all my 12" and alot of tracks, but I need 4 hours worth, or more. Any tracks you think are great for house parties, let us know.
Also what are the best 2nd hand record stores in Sydney? eg. Cheapest and good stuff?
Cheers
Matt :D |

| Anything by cold chisel :p - In all seriousness, i wouldn't know. Mainly RnB i guess and the occasional 'techno' song. |

got no idea on old vinyls. try that old record place in penrith, but im guessing your not looking to cater for geriatrics |

Black Legend - See The Trouble In Me
The DJ last nite at this house party played it...got about 60 of the 100ppl there in for a dance. I was goin nuts, its ing sweet!!
Crazy Penis - There is a Better Place
Justin Timberlake - Rock Your Body
Chopping up commercial like Jarule n Nelly n 50 cent into old school beats sounds sick..i suggest doing that :p Also, if you play those tunes alone, use lotsa effects (if you're gonna be usin a mixer with em) cos it makes em better as well..hahah..maybe it was just all the booze that was in me last nite which made me think that, i dunno jo. |

the best way to rock a houseparty is play to the audience. Bit of old school, classics and breaks is always a good combo. I played with some mates earlier and we didnt get the place cooking but my mate played after us and rocked it with these some of tunes.....
Snap - I've got the power
Michael Jackson - anything ABC, Billie Jean, Thriller etc.
99' trance: Verochoca - Carte Blanche, Lost Witness - Happiness Happening, Quake - Mantra, Liquid Child - Diving Faces, Melt - Be Liquid, Novy vs. Eniac - Pumping. |
