Hey gamers, got a lil prob ..

look i installed all the sims games on my comp, then i reformated my comp but backuped the directory of the sims with everything installed on it.. Now it wont run, probubly somthin needs 2 be put in the registry.. So is there enything i can do 2 save the game ?! :conf:
( I dont have the installations enymore so i cant reinstall )

PLZ help :(

hmmmmmm.....I really don't know what to tell you. Did you check the Sims websight (www.thesims.com)? They have lots of answers for just about every single problem.

If u have installed it on u'r computer some files will automatically go to u'r hardrive wich has system/system32:). Here the registry sentences will be writed so that the computer knows u have the program installed:). So if u have reformated the comp, those registry sentences woulkdn't be there & therefore, u can't run those programs:(.

Solution: U will have to re-install those games again in the same dirctory as before to make them possible to run.:cool:


PS: This was just the things that came into my mind while reading this;)....Read the sims Homepage:) for more information...

Thanx for the help .. But the problem is that i dont have the installations : \


Enyway i got a brand new broblem :D

When i play games they just crash into windows in the middle when i play, without eny error message or enything.. this happens when i play Enter the matrix of gta vice city ..
it drives me nuts !@#^

My comp :

Nvidia g force 4 with the lates driver
m audio delta sound card
c media sound card
asus p4533 motherbored
P4 2.4
512 ram
Windows xp

Now i got nothing running in the backround , no viruses, no adwarez.. nothin !!

And my computer is tweaked for best preformance.. Dos this happen 2 enyone ?! I realy need help
