Matrix RELOADED!

dr me
1. wicked but pointless rave scene (as with many other scenes in the movie)

2. story was cheesy. admit it ppl, you could predict almost everything (except the warped concept of the matrix but otherwise its pretty stock-standard)

3. special effects were very good but this is to be expected nowadays

4. lethal: reloaded does not have a big resolution because it is not the end yet. my guess is that it will end with your typical goody/bady fight scene you seem to like so much. happy endings make you feel good but leave you very unsatisfied imo

5. i can't wait for my unrestricted motorbike license

In MY opinion films like this need some sort of confilct resolution. Perfect example for me is the Lord of the rings movies (i probably should have mentioned i was talking about the film version of LOTR not the book - cause yes i know the book is 1 volume with 3 chapters, etc....) each film has its own unique story, with character development, a strong hint to the future sequel(s), and a big satisfying battle between good and evil at the end, where evil suffers a setback, and we all are left feeling happy and satisfied that the world is as it should be...... (examples destroying the first death star in star wars IV, escaping from the city in the sky in episode V, and destroying the second death star, and the emperor in episode VI...... see where im leading here?? )

OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG

are you being serious with the LOTR where they make each film a unique story and a conclusive ending??? the first one ended with the hobbits being kidnapped and frodo and sam setting off, and the second one finished with frodo and sam setting off again, its an awesome movie in all but what youre saying is that all sagas have to have a conclusive ending, well guess what, a conclusive ending isnt defined at having a major battle toward of the end and a small aftermath and cut scene afterwards, that is what you call the climax and anti climax of a film. if you wanna see good climaxes and anti-climaxes you go see movies like Terminator or any horror flick/suspense flick/thriller, movies like LOTR Matrix Back To the Future etc that usually run in sagas really depend on an inconclusive ending so that viewers will be intregued or wanting more but still feeling satisfied after the whole ordeal.... thats how LOTR Matrix and to a lesser extent Harry Potter have been produced

they make the films with extended breaks in between so that fans of the films want to know what happens next. LOTR has been really smart about this coz they have left pecisely 1 year and release it after xmas so that everyone will be on holidays and everyone will know what date it will be released.

every movie has a climax towards the end, if you dont want to get involved in a set of movies you know will be depending on a sequal then theres a simple solution:

DONT GO

if your thing is a crappy b grade movie with no original plot or storyline, dont go to one that is made out to be a masterpiece by critics expecting something you can watch without wanting to get into the storyline

i could argue all day, but i wont, im gonna go have a ciggy

[Connery] I cant remember quite how the joke ends but your mother's a whore [/Connery]

Ok, i'm gonna complain before I praise...

What was the reason behind the big dancing scene?? To make the sex scene not as bold? For a movie like the matrix, both are unnecessary and pretty much useless.

So was all that talk by the 'architect', I mean wtf? did anyone get all of it?

Fight scenes were awesome. there was a bit too much CGI Neo though, looked almost like I was watching a good quality computer generated cartoon anime like Final Fantasy for a bit.

End was... well it wasn't really an ending, I await the 3rd movie.. Spewing that I missed out on the trailer for the 3rd movie. (dammit people how was I meant to know?:conf:  )

The 'Superman thing' was awesome, loved it, so was the freeway chase.

Love scenes a bit cheesey.

(This could go on, but I think it warrants another viewing before I can really understand everything)

Besides all this, (despite a little bit of boredom) it was a very entertaining movie. Well worth the money to go watch it on the big screen. :toocool:

Was Reloaded just as much based around Christianity and Religion as much as the first one?

Also wait till after the credits at the end. There's the trailer for the third film. although you have to sit through about 10 minutes of credits and a awful banging hard rock tune.

So it is true, damn! :whip:

All the more reason to go watch it again, since i wasn't into it on Friday cause of the bad weather.
