Zelda: The Wind Waker

Mel David
Just finished reading a review of this game in Hyper magazine. OMG! I got to buy a Gamecube now. I miss the classic Zelda gamplay and my XBOX has NOT been satisfying me at all since the first day I bought it.
What is it about Nintendo games, even though they are geared towards younger players, that make them so damn addictive to play and totally immersive. Goldeneye, Mario 64, Zelda 64, Majora's Mask... I don't think any other game has enthralled me as much as these gems ever since.
Even a recent Splinter Cell purchase did not satisfy me at all. I actually stopped playing after the third stage.
Nintendo have some secret formula. Or perhaps they just know which "obsessive compulsive" buttons to press in gameplayers - that's why their games are so damn addictive.
Argh! I can' get Zelda out of my head.

:'(

Btw, I'm not some fanatic kid. I'm quite grown up already. :P I need counselling I think. Oh welpz...

i feel exactly the same way man. i like how the xbox is more "adult" but nothing has really satisfied me yet on the console. i want zelda sooooo bad and metroid prime too. ill trade an xbox straight up for a gamecube if anyone is interested. :happy2:

I call the Gamecube the Primecube for the simple fact alone that is it worth buying this console just to play Metroid Prime. Metroid Prime is a perfect 10. And don't even get me started on Zelda. After finishing Prime, I picked up Zelda which I would say I'm about 70 percent done and it is just as amazing as Prime. Another perfect 10. And with Metroid Prime 2 in the works which we will most likey see some news about at E3 this week, you won't want to be without a Gamecube any longer.
