How to scalp expensive tix???

I won 2 tix to cirque du soleil with a pic of mine on the local news... Here is our perty weather....
Now I don't know how to scalp them. As far as I know it's illegal to stand outside the show, and yell, "Tix for sale!!! Get your scalped tix here!" Can someone give me tips???? They are worth 300+ bux retail (VIP). :toothless :toothless :toothless I wish they gave me $300+ cash instead..........but I'd just blow it on records. :stongue: :gsmile:
What's wrong with that though??? I might even be able to get a used tex deck for that price.:wtf:

you can just go to the show. just go up to the people who are standing in line or going to stand in line and offer them the tix for slightly less then they have to pay at the box office in which they are going to to buy the tickets.
there will be alot of people there so i dont think you will have any problem finding someone who will be willing to pay slightly less than what they would have to at the box office.
some may ask that you stand in line with them to make sure that the tix are real (thats what i always do whenever someone tries to scalp to me). you shouldnt have too many probs.
i've had to scalp many a ticket when the basterd bouncers at the door won't accept my ID :)

Well first of all the show is great...These guys (and girls) can really do some cool stuff!
But cool enough for $300 a ticket? Hmmm, nah definaly not - The show I went to was like $70 or something (But that wasn't VIP) But whatever, just go there and walk around like you belong there and try to sell them (I'm assuming that the crowd there will be somewhat "older" so don't be an idiot (Like acting all nervous or like yelling out "Tickets for sale!" like you said) since it is ileagal ;)
But it's definaly worth a shot to try and sell them IMO (At least try and get rid of one of them) - If all else fails and you can't sell them just go to the show :D |

Most cities will turn a blind eye to scalpers as long as they're either 250 feet away or not on property that's immediately adjacent to where the show is being held.
Catch people making their way towards the performance and keep your distance.
BTW, the Cirque puts on a great show :) |

| The show is actually great, but $300 is better.. send a girl to sell them for you, it doesn't fail. Just say that you/she can't stay for the show, rather than that you need cash instead. |
