Alright, we're getting cable at my house and since we have several computers, we want to have everything wireless. Today I was looking at some wireless routers and found a few, but my question is, what's the difference between the 'A', 'B', 'G' types that they always talk about? I heard it's something with the speed and that G doesn't really work that well yet. Also, I have an ethernet card on the computers, which are not wireless, do I need to buy a wireless card for each of them or can I just add something to the ones I have?
Thx,

| not knowing much about specific products relating to wireless networking, id advise you to look for some reviews on some netoworking internet sites. you will need either a wireless adapter on every pc, or if you have 2 or 3 pc's close to each other you can get a wireless router that will conect to the 3 pc's and also offer a wireless acess point, ill see if i can find out some more info for you. |
