Chemical records causing me sleepless nights!!

I was hoping somebody could give me some advice on this matter..Im still a student at uni here in Cape Town and in an attempt to help pay off my study loans i decided to save some cash up during the summer and start a small record store here. Over the last month I've spent close on to R8000 ( 1100 euros) at chemical records on my first small shipment of 100 or so tunes..Its been 3 and a half weeks since i place the last order and i have received nothing..not only that but the customer service i have received from chemical is appalling..i requested a tracking number for my parcel so that i could track it on the "royal mail" website and i was promptly told that i couldnt have one since i am an international order and i must please wait 28 days before mailing them again.
How can they treat a paying customer like that..surely 28 days is too long..after all they dont have to wait 28 days for my money..At the moment Im gutted..how have others found them to be and could anybody refer me to some other sites that i could do business with and perhaps feel like my business is wanted! I see only-djs is quite good but the price of their UK releases are really high and their is quite a big demand here for tidytrax and nukleuz releases so i need to stock those..

chemical are really your best bet, the whole 28 day thing is to make sure you actually get your records..
Brisky browses the forums, search for one of his giveaways and PM him, and explain whats happened
I'm sure this is just a mistake, as I've been using Chemical for over a year, and have never had any problems..... |

wow why would u spend so much money on a store without checkig them out first. thats a hell of a risk. whenever i used a store for the first time i only ever buy 1 vinyl, so if they me over at least im not loads out of pocket. but in this case i guess ur lucky coz chemical records really are the best. like az says, pm brisky coz im sure he'd be willing to help as it looks like theres just a misunderstanding here. but the only 2 record stores u'll ever really need are www.juno.co.uk and www.chemical-records.co.uk
edit: btw i agree with u about there customer service. ive rung up before about something and some dick on the end was well rude, and needed a rite good twatting. |

Well i did sorta check em out first..bought a pair of Sennheiser headphones from them and it was like here in 6 days..no problems with credit card or anything..then when i placed my first order there were huge hassles with ID documents and redoing orders etc..took me about 2 weeks to get my first order done and well the hassles havent really stopped since then..
I'm not looking to be a ..i just want to be able to do my order once or twice a month..give them business and i make my money this side..just dont understand why i cant have a tracking number..it's a lot of money and i probablly was a little silly..got a little excited when 2 rival stores shut down this month..so was looking to take advantage..now have shelves full of 2nd hand vinyl,poor customer goodwill, and cash tied up in records that may be being played by some guy in West Africa somewhere..
Thanx for the info tho..i'll PM him if i get no further help..i dont want to be liasing with two many people at the same time..im sure it would be helluva frustrating for them
