Your stupid. That doesn't matter. Yes there were alot of turnovers BUT the puck should have not been in the net period. That is Cloutier's job to stop that regardless of the turnovers of whatever. And the rebounds Cloutier let out were just retarded.
Cloutier has not been a good goalie since his knee injury. Look at his stats before and after. I think his knee is ed for life so we should get a new goalie.
And if you want to blame the team, look at the ing shot%. We didn't even have that many shots against us anyway. In the last 3 games we had something like just over 60 shots against us and 15! goals went in. Not all Cloutiers fault but a load were. |

even if you did win with a better goalie you shouldnt have. Bertuzzi had more penalty minutes at one point than the entire mighty ducks team. And most of the goals that were scored on the canucks were huge defensive mistakes. People wide open when they should never have been. None of the goals (in the wild series anyway.. blues series different story) were typical bad goals. Men wernt covered and were wide open and given enough time to snipe. The wild defense one the other hand was flawless. I dont know how the shot counts compared but very rarely was a vancouver player given a good chance to score. They could never penetrate the D and blitz the net.
Should vancouver get a new goalie? Yes. Should they have won the series with a better goalie? No. Would they have won the cup with a better goalie? No. They just go out coached and out played. It happens and against arguably one of the best coaches of all time people shouldnt be all that shocked. Too bad too cause I LOVE the team.
Now I guess its time to cheer for the last Canadian team. Go sens go!!! |
