I finally get some time to write a reply.
It was a great night, beautiful tunes throughout the way I like it. My highlight would have been when Kamaya painters - Endless wave was played. It's such an uplifting classic trance track, I had never heard it on a big sound system, so it was an awesome thrill.
It was good seeing the tranceaddict crew again, and meeting a few new people like Josh (it was nice chatting IT stuff with you), Oli, crasher kid (you're a great track identifier!), and darkenrahl(?).
My only problem was that I was very tired from an extremely hard week... I was very dead by Friday afternoon on the way back to Sydney. So as the night progressed I felt increasingly darker in mood. Strangely enough I only realised that I had not taken a break at all, not even a toilet break, until Stama was playing his set. But the music was too good to leave, and I didn't want to miss Cam's set either, so I ended up staying until the end without a single break... it's not a healthy thing to do! Remember to take breaks!
Many thanks go to morro and the Altitude crew for returning in a much better venue. Thanks especially for the beautiful full-colour lasers, they definitely added value to the experience. They were the same as those used on new year's eve for Nukleuz DJs, I posted some photos here:

Djway, were you the guy in the costume? I was wondering what the hell you were wearing... I thought you were a boy scout walking around selling lollies for charity... but I realised later it's a uniform for some kind of job related to air travel? hehehe it looked funny anyway. :) I'm sorry I didn't say hi, I was feeling too crappy at the time.
I'm looking forward to the next event. |
