I think the novelty has worn of the nec events to tell the truth.
I was at the one in november and i have to say it was e. It's just too big and there is a distinct lack of any atmosphere. |

hmm, i thought gatecrasher at the NEC last november was one of the best nights of my life.. probably because it was my one and only NEC event i'd been to... but i thought it had the atmosphere and everything, i really enjoyed it and was proper looking forward to another GC NEC this time round, but look what happened. pah |

Well to start with I wanted to see underworld, that was wasted by to greasy moshers that kept on standing all over me toes. so i left there went to the hard house bit, which was full of little ket monkeys, not to mention i hate hard house. went into the main arena and everbody was sitting on the stands, there was no noise except for some pretty music, needless to say mario piu was on the decks. So i goes back thru to the bugged out arena, which was dead, then on trying to get back into the main arena i was told to wait in a cue for half an hour. so i says " this" and started the long trip back up to sunny glasgow.
All that for 40 quid. hmmm. |
