Sneaker Pimp Subterra Saturdays: 11.11 "Make a Wish" Manchester, New Hampshire

7PM - 1AM // 18+ // $10 Presale // $15 @ Door
When we think of how perfect this match is, it was like a sign to do right. We lucked out and our monthly show happen to fall on November 11th and when I hear that phrase, "MAKE A WISH", it brings me back to a day when Trance reigned supreme. As the name fit so well and we here at Subterra love to give back to the community, we're donating 100% of all proceeds (after costs) of this show to the NH Make a Wish foundation.

Your audio pilots for the night are...

DJ Psylar (CT)
[Whakko Entertainment / Love Tribe]
DJ Psylar has been making waves in the Connecticut/ New England electronic music/ rave scene since early 2012. As a co-founder of the CT based underground electronic music event production crew, Whakko Entertainment, he has incessantly advocated for the return of trance music to the rave scene. Fueled by a drive to restore trance to it's rightful place on the top of the electronic music totem pole, he has become known for his prog psy and tech trance centered sets, and a smooth as butter mixing style. He has worked with/ been booked by many notable event crews in New England, including Love Tribe, Scientific Sound, Live Free & Dance, Tight Crew, Volume Productions, True Crew, 4orce Productions, Robot Haus, and more.
He has performed at: Pyroglyphics Music Festival, Revolt! Music Festival, Cross-Pollination Music Festival Afterlife (New Haven), Toad's Place, .:Therapy (RI), Lupos Heartbreak Hotel, Sin City (CT), Gotham (CT), The ADC (MA), The Waterfront (MA), and many more underground events.

Amber Alert/DJ Kohaku (ME)
[Live Free and Dance / Drive it Like Ya Stole it / IKON Ent. / New England Rave Union ]
With her first “big gig” in 2003 playing alongside Richard “Humpty” Vission in mid 2003, Amber/Kohaku has since been both blessed and talented enough to open for or play alongside such fellow artists as Feelgood, Micro, Donald Glaude, John B, Planet of the Drums, AK1200, Todd Terry, Frankie Bones, Odi, Terry Mullen, and (her personal favorites) Rabbit in the Moon and Dara, to name a few. She has traveled as far as north as New Brunswick, Canada, and as far south from her home in Maine as MA, CT, NH, and VT to play the unique trance beats that have been her livelihood for far over a decade.
Her early styles and influences included classic 2000’s era trance, speed garage, and “Icey- style” (Florida) breakbeats. Her current styles are predominantly Trance, progressive house and some breaks on the side is her specialty, but also very much enjoys Ragga/Dancehall Jungle and misc. styles of Drum n Bass. Additionally, she's working on her new project and current favorite style; Chillstep … stay tuned!

Christopher Xanthus aka Christopher X (MA)
[Noyz"R"Us / Sons of Techno / Music of the Sun]
I've been mixing records for over 20 years and have played from coast to coast. Some of my recent gigs have been warehouse and desert raves in California. In the Northeast I've played in New York, Pittsburgh and all over New England. I've also had many Iowa gigs such as Rotation, Together and Year of the Golden Snake. I've played in Canada twice at W.E.M.F. (The World Electronic Music Festival). My most recent booking was on the Mentally Divergent DIYss at Even Furthur in Wisconsin. I also had gigs in the Southeast where I first started spinning. My style is a mix of Techno, Acid Techno, Hard Techno and Trance with a few other things thrown in. I am affiliated with NoyzRus based out of Los Angeles. I'm also half of Sons of Techno along with Domenic Carnage in Massachusetts. I started raving in 1993 in California and was influenced and inspired to spin from many of the raves I went to throughout North America in the 90s.

Twist of Fate (NH)
[The Mutiny / Eastcoast Underground / Tight Groove Recording]
I love music and there is nothing more that i like than to play music even if it is not something i created myself. I have been djing for over 13 years and have been fortunate to share the stage with some of the biggest names in the USA and the world.
There is nothing like the feeling i get to having a room full of smiling, dancing people and i suppose that is why all who play music do what they do.
So I guess the easiest way to put this all is, I play music.

Massappeal (MA)
[Subterra / Table Manners / 4orce Prod.]
The name says it all! Massappeal has been honing his skills for the past 15 years and is no stranger to the underground. Well known in the community for his friendly persona and for his high energy sets, Massappeal is a guaranteed party rocker! Passionate and lively, he’s always hyping up the crowd with his on stage attitude and his killer cuts!
Starting his career in Seattle Washington circa 1998 and getting down to the likes of Donald Glaude, DJ Dan and many notable West Coast party slayers, Massappeal learned from the best at countless shows and has now incorporated that knowledge into his own style and flare. Currently residing in northern MA, Massappeal has joined the Table Manners Crew and is the co-founder of Worcester’s hottest weekly, Subterra! Catch him all over New England and beyond whether it be on his own as Massappeal or scratching it up in his award winning band SecondHand Smoke!
