i only had to wait 3hrs to get in
least art department played till 8:30

i showed up at 12:45 and didn't get in til 6:45 :/
idk how i did it, but i waited that whole time...
i drank wayyyy too much once i got in tho, trying to make up for lost time, and didn't realize how the sun beating down on me in line had really done a number on me. then i got a wee bit sick and a huge amount embarrassed ((

i'm quite looking forward to the manik party at least. he's fantastic, and i'll get there even earlier for that one (though i know i won't need to)

Are the lines that long to get inside? I was thinking about going this Sunday but if it takes four hours to get in I might as well pass.

wow... so glad i didn't end up going, our plan was to show up at 12:30 but we weren't gonna be able to make it until 1 so we aborted. i can't believe you waited in line for 6 hrs, that is hardcore!

after 3 hours it just got to a point where i felt that there was no turning back lol
my friend kept making runs to the liquor store

I have a party there on June 24th with Ambivalent (Minus) and Big Bully. I guarantee you will not have to wait for longer then 20 minutes tops.

I thought Big Bully was just a vocalist ?? I only know him from a few releases, most of which tickled my fancy for sure.

On Sunday at the Standard, my friend lost a plastic doll which looks similar to the Ken doll (of the famous Barbie and Ken duo) except this doll is lying down on his right side with his hand under his head. the party last Sunday was uniquely super hyped and therefore incredibly packed...even only allowing RSVP didnt cut down the number of people wanting to come. Next few parties will not have similar waits, that's a guarantee...was just an insane one
