I've never even heard of that happening on a boat. What were they in dock the whole time?!

So we ended up going... we had planned on making the trip to Toronto anyway, so why not.
The boat didn't leave the dock until 2:30!!!!
Yes the music was very quite for Shoguns set. Could almost hear people talking over the music which sucks. I wouldn't blame the boat or anything, gotta be city by-laws of somesort. So I guess in retrospect it was a good idea to have Mark Sherry play middle because he played waaaaaay better than Shogun.

My bf saw some comotion from security dragging someone forcefully away. Turns out it was one of the Envy Productions guys

Overall, not a terrible experience (besides late departure), but not a memorable one either.

Uhhh...for the record, the boat was at legal capacity and was sold out. This talk about "not selling enough tickets" is complete horseshit. Look at Orjan Nilsen's tweets to KLM airlines...he cancelled in Edmonton too.

The staff on that boat were horribly incompetent and rude. Security were pricks. The boat's sound tech pinched an extension cord in the kitchen door downstairs which killed the power and started a small fire (which was quickly put out)...idiots.

As far as music goes, Mark Sherry and Carlo Lio both played very good sets. Shogun was very mainstream and predictable. Kurtbradd & Casualties of Sound held it down too. Overall it was a good party and people had fun. Everyone on this forum needs to fucking relax and stop being so uptight.

How exactly are my facts not straight? You just said it DID happen.

Also, there was TONS of room on the boat. I don't see how this was even close to sold out. But what do I know, right?

Regardless. This isn't even worth arguing over.
