Montreal is more about the afterhours. Toronto is more about the afterparty at a condo.

I highly doubt that their burgers are worth trying. I'm imagining a big patty with no flavour, if they don't season anything else in that shit-hole (although, I actually liked that bland-style dressing they pass off as house-made ranch on the salad), I doubt the burgers are either.

Bullshit.
Those forces combine to create a soaking, boiling mudstorm on Valentine's Day.

I think you're missing the point. The jams you're looking for are 100% illegal and you expect either organizers (who profit from) or attendees (who enjoy) to publicly announce these events on a message board? Even if it's a 5% chance you're a cop why would they risk getting things shut down? You have to be able to understand why people even if they have the knowledge aren't exactly jumping at the chance to toss it out there. There's also been a lot of cat and mouse games with underground events and police in this city and they're responsible for ruining things that a lot of people used to enjoy. So, try to realize why someone investing their personal money into an illegal event isn't exactly asking 51 division if they'd like to rsvp.

As for your MTL post it was completely different and contained nothing illegal. Go on there asking where you can score some cheap drugs cause you heard that's the best way to have fun at an event and see what the response is. There's lots of posts in the Toronto forum inquiring about the scene here or asking for suggestions and more often than not people are helpful.

All that being said if you really want to find events that suite your style just make friends with people that have similar interests and the rest will fall into place. Not the hardest thing to do at places like Comfort Zone or Footwork...
