Area 33, Bordeaux (music to drive fast cars to/guitars/amen abuse/speeding tickets)
made this today, its meant for in the car primarily...fast cars (not mine because its old and i think it needs new brakes LOL)
got some nice drum and bass tunes in there with a couple of fast movers, i made it for my drive to see my friend in a nearby town (im always stuck in traffic to appreciate driving fast to the mix) grrr.
Found Atlantis - Area 33, Bordeaux (music to drive fast cars to/guitars/amen abuse/speeding tickets)
Muse - Hysteria Instrumental
Super Hang On - Hard Road (Arranged Version)
Hatiras - Spaced Invader (Ed Rush & Optical Remix)
TheFoxII - Rushmore Remix
Daniel Baeder - Astor Drum'nBass
Airport One - Kontakt
Air - Kelly Watch The Stars (Live BBC '98)
Apollo 440 - Ain't Talking 'bout Dub
Adam F - Circles
Rom Di Prisco - Romulus 3
the mixing isnt anything to rave about but i had fun making it
that last track from need for speed is killah. i liked this mix alot - the tunes very nicely picked and arranged. by the end of the set i really felt i journey'd some distance away. the one thing is the mixing. you make a buncha nice cuts and then a bunch not.
i think if you spend more time on transitions youd have a real nice set going cuz you got everything: variety, tension&release, energy, etc. except mixing.
EDIT: that Apollo 440 reminded me of an old favorite:

thanks pozz, i forgot that i uploaded this one yeah i must admit some of the transitions are wank, i was just lazy LOL i should of put a couple more tunes in this one to make smoother transitions into the selections i DID play...overall i am pleased with this one, its messy but noisy
oh btw well pleased with that ancient electropica mix you did, thats in the lounge and the gf is enjoying it too, you need to fix the tracklisting because you've only listed half the tunes, the tracklisting goes up to like 70% of the mix..
Short, sweet, and tasty. It was pretty heavy and exciting and I wanted so much more than what you gave me
You needed to dig deeper and find double the amount of tracks and make a proper set out of it! The mixing wasn't as bad as I was led to believe, while it may not have been perfectly mixed, the flow was just fine and the set was epic, albeit entirely too short.

thanks ZIPTNF! i forgot about this set hahaha, i might re-route this one as i have myself some more tracks that i like the sound of in my car who knows...maybe i can actually mix them together lol
the opener is a mean one i tell thee.
i am also planning on an 8bit related mix at some point but have never got round to it with employment commitments. bad times bad times
thanks for checking this out my good man, stay tuned for more random shizzles
I've been scanning for some dubstep and saw this thread. Thought I'd feedback nao.
It was definitely a win mix. I was not quite sure what to expect apart from two titles that looked familiar. Anyway, yeah, good stuff. I didn't really pay attention to mixing so fuck that. I enjoyed all of the tunes and it was all done well. Good job.

thanks vernon.w christmas cat is watching you mix. i think i need to revisit this mix and add some moar tracks to it, i mean thirty minutes is good for me as that is the time taken to travel from my house to my pals...as for a listening experience it needs to be at least 45mins+
