I got confused someone said Adam and then Ivan.
I'm not being unkind I'm being truthful. Let say someone was a creationist here. If it goes against my beliefs and is illogical why would I support and encourage them?
You're both arguing for the world being grey, while giving black and white arguments, and you're both giving christian reasons for your claimed atheistic conclusions.
are we born with a life purpose? you and vivid keep saying we somehow are born a certain way. That implies that we have a specific lot in life, and can't get outside of it. This is overtly religious dogma/bullshit. We can change. We have norms that are placed on us, yes, but the ability to overcome any norms is true human nature. If humans just accepted our lot we wouldn't have any society, wouldn't have any technology, wouldn't have anything we have now. Overcoming what we're born with/who/what we are is one of the basic tenants of human life.
You seem to accept this to a degree, then impose your emotional biases (bit scared of being picked up by a chick with a dick are we??) onto the situation and draw an ambiguous line about 'what's ok', and 'what's not', without giving any inclination as to where the line is. If you're going to claim someone else is irrational, at least be rational yourselves.
