Stu and my mom would get along great, she is into birds just as much as he has, only difference I am sure their is a greater variety where Stu lives.
This is a pic taken today at my mom's house with her African Grey named Aki. He is named that for his red Autumn tail feathers.
He is not a Congo Grey.

Awesome African Greys are amazing birds.
This little guy has an insane vocabulary. The things he picks up around my parents house are youtube worthy. (sometimes)
He meows like the cat, tells it to get off the table, barks like the dog. Mimics the other McCaw's sound bites...even says the words they know how to say. Then tells the female McCaw who acts up the worst but is my mom's favorite to Shut up... He'll say "Shut Up Cracker!"
Makes R2D2 sounds. And every once in awhile he will say: "Let me out of my cage or I'm going to call my lawyer". That was taught to him by the previous owner that was apart of the Bird Club here that my mom is also apart of. He was old and went to Nursing Home and died.

It's only 10:25pm Sat. here. How do you have your frogs enclosed? My brother is a salt water fish guy, I should post some pix of what he has going on. I plan on getting a cheap little digital camera next month, just something better than a camera phone.

They're all in a glass terrarium, with sliding glass doors at the front, and a steel mesh ceiling. Inside the terrarium are a bunch of bromeliad plants and dishes full of pebbles and water for them.

You should go to the Underwater world aquarium up on the sunshine coast. I took lots of fish pictures but not a lot of them turned out very well as its quite dark in places.
I've actually been there a bunch of times, it's pretty cool. I grew up on the Sunshine Coast.
I'm not getting the reference completely on bloody things.
I'm guessing fish eating other fish?

The pic that Lilith posted wasn't of frogs - They're Cane Toads. They were an introduced species to Australia in the 1930s to control the cane beetles on sugar cane farms, but they spread immensely quickly, and are considered a noxious pest now. They have no natural predators here, and since they're highly poisonous, they destroy tons of the native wildlife here, most notably, the populations of native frogs Not to mention cats and dogs, and just about anything else.
Fun fact: The native crows here are about the only thing that can eat them. They flip them onto their backs and eat them from the stomach, thereby avoiding the poison glands
Just too many toads now though, for the crows to make any kind of difference
