CD 1 is where it's at (0° North) for sure, but i think most people who didn't start their edm-habits on the old school shit will find that both discs sound really frickin' dated and i could totally understand if people who like the modern, contemporary stuff dislike either or both discs.
Yeah some of the vocals... Kites - Ultraviolet for example.

I'm keen on this stuff. Just never got around to listening to it. Sasha and Digweed's various GUs were some of my favorites.
I just listened to the first 10 minutes of cd1 and already love it. I'm stopping now so that I can listen to the whole thing in one sitting tomorrow.
what's your favorite sasha gu? seems like everyone ejaculates all over 013:ibiza but my personal favorite is 009. 013 is basically just a big trance anthem wank-fest, but 009 is mixed really well and is.. i dunno, just better imo. i mean, besides involver, i guess that's technically a gu too.
SOUNDCLOUD WEBPAGE (new material and dj mixes semi-regularly updated there)

Not sure about the number, but San Francisco.

What lunacy exactly?
Of course I was trolling about Northern Exposure (although I do think it's somewhat bland), but I insist on the points that buying music on vinyl is as hipster as it gets. Whether one hates hipster or not is of course another story. And I also think that saying real DJs spin vinyl only is incredibly pretentious.

Who said real DJ only use vinyl? That's retarded. Digital is way more practical in most cases.
However, it doesn't take away from the fact that vinyl sounds a lot better than digital because of that warmth and crackling. It's not hipster to want your favourite tracks on the best format available, that you can also play out when the opportunity arises. Don't be an idiot.
Is it hipster to get your favourite movie on Blu-Ray or do you have to stick with DVD?
