Good luck. Getting shit done regardless of how interesting it is is a super important skill, an idea that's only recently dawned on me. But find a way to work on stuff you like as well. (What /do/ you like?)
I'm a fan of separating tasks into urgent/not-urgent and important/not-important. Sounds like this one is urgent but not important (to you). I started labeling things that way and it made me give less of a fuck about urgent and not important things (usually I want to make everything perfect), get basically the same grades on things I don't care much about, and have more time to work on interesting things and/or relax.
