So canucks. Educate me on your weird system of cuts of meat
eye of round, baseball cut etc etc? It's all weird to me. I'm used to-
Loin, tenderloin, rib eye, top rump, sirloin, brisket etc

Baseball cut wtf? Pretty sure a cut of meat is a cut of meat, no other names for them here than the standard.

Eye of Round actually is a cut of meat. It's fairly dense, not fatty and not very commonly used because it winds up as tough as it is flavorless. It does have some redeeming qualities and does well in a braise. I've used it to make carpaccios.

each 'cut' which is each bit of the animal is phrased differently though & I don't know what to compare it with compared to our standards.
I made the mistake of buying eye of round steak yesterday, One was lovely but the other was as tough as hell. Inside round is another one I've seen. Baseball cut looks like small baseball sized pieces but it doesn't tell me 'where' on the animal it's come from

Hey Richard,
(1) How much would you say you have been influenced by Paul Oakenfold?
(2) What is your favorite DJ mix that Oakenfold has done, ever?
(3) What is your favorite tune from Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto label?
(4) How would you compare yourself as a DJ to Paul Oakenfold?
(5) How can I become the next Paul Oakenfold? Any tips?
(6) In a coke-snorting contest between you and Paul Oakenfold, who would win?
(7) When do you think Oakenfold will retire from dance music for good?

(9) What's Oakenfold doing that you're not doing, which you probably should be doing?
(9b) On a related note, why aren't you doing what Oakenfold is doing which you should probably be doing as well?
(10) Oakenfold clearly is not as handsome as you are. Do you think that's why he actually tries harder?
