weeeee
morning stu
getting my bike upgraded this week, pedals that won't hurt my feet like the crappy ones that come on them all, then consumables, new chain, cassette & gear cable for smoother shifting, brake pads so I can stop and I'm tempted to pimp other parts out depending what I find on Weds when I visit a big store in Brum.

Bloody hell Ian, you're an enigma, wrapped in a mystery, wrapped in a Yorkshire Pudding.
Do you have some kind of kick-arse trust fund or something? Or are your parents just loaded? Ask if they need an extra son? Just for next years Spanish getawaywithaweasomefoodandpicsofbirds?

lol. no, on the contrary, my mum has always been heavily in debt. My dad split his share of the divorce with me & my brother (as he wanted to see us enjoying it before he dies) but i've just spent it wisely. My brother blew it in 18 months, I've still got £3500 left out of £12500 4 years on. Due to my health, i live on almost nothing, just paying the bills and eating etc and it stands you in good stead for the day you actually have some.

Memorise this. My gran taught it to me when I was about 8.
100g plain white flour
pinch salt
3 eggs
1/2 pint milk or cream
beef fat or lard to melt into the trays before hand
mix it all together, adding the milk slowly, let it stand for 30 mins, beat it again, let it stand again and then beat it just before pouring into the pre-heated tins (with the fat melted) and voila.

it's so easy to remember too 20-25 mins for small ones at 200c (fan oven) or 220 (non fan) or 30 ish for plate sized ones. And never ever open the door, they sink so easily & that is just asking for it
