I got an internship offer today and summer 2010 is starting to look really awesome. I'll be 21, 30 mins from san francisco, working on theoretical neuroscience and machine learning stuff, and making a fuckton of money I'll also be working 15-20 mins away from my brother who moved out there recently and who I haven't seen for more than a week at a time since we went off to college.
I'm pretty stoked

awww bunny is right ! hahaha
you know that men used to have even a forth and fifth molar , but since our diet changed to a much softer one through evolution the body decided to get rid of those pesky extra teeth .

I need to schedule in a time to remove all of my wisdom teeth but I can't find a good time. My job requires me to talk a lot and I don't want to waste annual leave on recovery. Ah fuck it. They can stay in for now.

nope. didn't need it the egg poacher I have means there's no direct contact between egg and water and so the protein strands don't go haywire. It's good enough for me anyway

Oh. A 'gadget'.
Why not just learn how to poach an egg normally? It's not hard at all!
Which is actually what she said.

Wow goddamn I'm so fucking lucky. Way overslept today and it's my last day of clinical. Was supposed to be on the 615 train but slept till 620. Missed the 650 train literally by half a minute...doors closed and it pulled away just as we drove up. Caught the last train and managed to get the shuttle driver to drop me off "illegally" so I could catch my transfer bus in time. I'm only going to be a half hour late as opposed to the hour and a half I would have been, had the shuttle driver not helped me.

All four grew in without issue, never any pain and only one was actually impacted. I've had them out for a good 5-6 years now and on Sunday I noticed my jaw was a little sore. Woke up on Monday thinking that I was just massively hungover from all the drinking I did on Sunday. 9am rolls around and it's literally the most blinding pain I've ever had, I couldn't even concentrate at work. Called a dentist and went down, the gum around the impacted wisdom tooth was infected, so they snipped some gum back and cleaned it out. I woke up today and half of my face is swollen. I figure the infection spread and I should just get the whole thing removed. I imagine I'll get the others taken out, but they've grown in fine so I really don't see a reason why.
Yeah, my bottom 2 are impacted - they do not cause me much pain, as all 4 of them have been exposed for a good 5 years, but the risk of infection/crowding/cavities on the nearby molars is good enough reason for me to drop $600 on it. Plus I get next week off to chase Vicky dragons. Yussss.

Yeah the impacted one finally started to infect the gum so I got that removed. I don't imagine the non impacted ones will cause any problems, but I guess I'll talk to my dentist about that and see what she says. The oral surgeon was like "oh they will bother you eventually"...even though they're in just fine? Meh.

I'm obviously no dentist, but I have always read that if your wisdom teeth are not coming in perfectly aligned for use (like Nou's, apparently), get them out asap because they can only cause further complications down the road. I was supposed to get mine taken out back when I was 18, but I put it off because they did not bother me, yet they were already starting to come in a bit sideways. Oh, and the surgeon who suggested it wanted $3500 hahajkl;ashf
But yeah, I will feel great just to have it all over with, I think. Flossing between one of them just breaks the floss usually because it's so tight against the other molar.
