So I'm having an EEG tomorrow and they said I can't have any alcohol or caffeine for 24 hours prior to it. They also said I couldn't have more than 3-3.5 hours of sleep the night before. 3 hours of sleep + working a half day = fml.

Seizures apparently. I've been having brief blackouts (driving somewhere and not remembering how I got there, whole conversations I had with people with no recollection) without being under the influence of any substances. The Dr. said that could be a sign of some kind of seizure where people would seem otherwise functional, but their brain isn't working how it should.

Edit: I just looked it up and it seems closest to a petit mal seizure.

Yeah I'm kind of nervous about it. I hate being on medication and I really wouldn't want to have to take anything for it.
