I blame all those northern hemisphere scrubs for these shennanigans, moping around eating deep fried cheese and its too cold to go out and do anything remotely constructive with their miserable lives. So they come here and make the place rubbish.

We should just ban the northern hemisphere until summer.

tbf, our shitty winter is more over than not now. It's been bad for all of nov, dec and jan, and with only feb & maybe march before it becomes tolerable, it's looking up. Daylight hours are already expanding slowly.

It was almost as unexpected as the time I asked for a "ginger beer" and the guy offered me some water because he couldn't believe a sane person could drink that

ginger ale ftw. we have canadian dry here but it's not the same as in canada It's like a really refreshing thing there, but here it's mediocre, kinda like cadburys confectionary in canada.

Ginger beer is not the same as ginger ale, though. It's way way way stronger, and I felt like I was drinking ginger soup or summat. Ginger ale is good... I remember my only disappointment was Dr. Pepper. That stuff is nasty!

I'm not sure I ever had Mountain Dew...

I'm yet to try the ginger beer, but I do love ginger. Apart from the first time I bought it and took a bite out of it. Turns out it's not wise to do that

Have you tried the Bluetongue Brewery Sushi? They make a good ginger beer.

I bought these ginger cookies from Trader Joe's that are made with "real crystalized Australian ginger". They're called Gingeroos and they have a picture of the Australian national symbol on them. A kangaroo. And they are amazing. Touche Australia, touche.
