There's this thing though....
I have a total... fetish (??) for a Scottish accent. Not Galswegian, NO.
A nice, soft Edinburgh accent.
I have, on many occasions, gone out of my way, just to speak to Scottish folks.
Yeah, I'm weird
It's all right.
This is something that struck me as bizarre in London, which is all I know in the UK: I really like blondes and redheads and all that, and I kind of liked the feisty girl that welcomed me to England in the Immigration office and all... Londoners sounds really hot. Specially your ordinary British blonde. Like that Atkinson girl that looks nothing like Rowan. What's her name again?
Anyway, as I walk in the city, the hottest girls all had painful thick accents from China. Really, it's that bad. Well, maybe I spent too much time around Leicester Square but, that's the London I knew.
It was awful because some of the cute girls also had to stay outside the restaurant they worked for... and they'd stay still for hours on end. I remember there was this girl that was in front of an alley the first night I visited Chinatown and found out the food there was cheaper. She was also there on the second night and - SHE WOULDN'T MOVE! Then on the third day, there she was, rock hard, and I decided to poke her and check if she had died of hypothermia or if she was just your ordinary immigrant. It's funny because she spoke so little English, I think I should do some record some sitdown comedy and reenact the facts of that day...
