soooo, i won a ton of money this weekend. played 1-2 NL on friday and cashed out 1400, then played 3-5 PLO and won 2860. bought a big fancy tv, and blu-ray player, and a new computer. w00t. go figure i blow half of the money on new toys. lol.

We wondered why they were going mental the last few nights. They're relatively new into their new *big* enclosure, so we figured it was something to do with that.

And I guess it might have been. Slappers.

Their call is a long, drawn-out "Weeeeeeeeeeee-behhhg-behhhg-behhhg", and it's really loud. So loud that we wondered if we could get to sleep with them carrying on, but it's actually soooo relaxing.

If you're relaxed by nature stuff

We used to get some Bell Miners here which were the prettiest nature sounding animals around, prettier than my budgies which just squawk and fight... and infinitely better than anything in Africa making noises. That just usually meant you're about to get wrecked and eaten.

I'm making nachos... actual proper nachos I spent the afternoon boiling beans, puréeing a heap of tomatoes, braising and then simmering the mince and onions in their spices. Later when I un-muckify the processor I'll murder some avocados, lemon juice, pepper and sour cream in it.
The smell is getting nuts

Nobody from the south has jumped the fence yet at least.

Also moved to a new place but doesnt have a stove. This will make cooking pretty challenging
