Except that was never the point of what I was saying - so accusing me of being shallow, especially to that degree, is pretty far off the mark.

The point lira and i were talking about was coming FROM your hatred of fatties, and suggestion that people in relationships become more insecure ( still ): It was a logical extension of what you had previously said: That's usually how conversations work, one person says somemthing, then another person adds something on top, and where it ends up nobody knows!
about you being shallow: You were clearly blasting people because of how they look. how are you really saying you're not shallow???
i was clearly joking also, why would i care about it enough to bring it up as a group discussion

Nope, I was blasting people for their lifestyle choices, which end up being reflected in their looks (i.e. fatass slobs). Not once did I say anything about having an issue with them because of how they LOOK.
And my suggestion was NOT that people in relationships become more insecure. Are you fucking dumb or something? Lol.

Do i really have to go to a dictionary definition? I said you were shallow because you are making assumptions on people's personalities based entirely on their physical appearance.
what the fuck is the problem with me saying it when you've been saying that you do that the whole time??

Are people really that complacent and insecure that it's easier just to get fat/unfit and let your partner do the same? Ugh.
INSECURITY CAUSES FATNESS
You said it Jenny, why the fuck would both lira and myself have been arguind that fatness comes from security, NOT Insecurity unless you said it in the first place...

You can try to pin me for being shallow all you want, but you're wrong, and your interpretation of what I said is also wrong. That's all there is to it.

Why not? Misery loves company. And don't people usually feel more comfortable around those who enable their behaviour?

I don't understand how you can say what you were saying was not shallow... it was obviously shallow... its just strange that you're denying it... :s

That's the only point I attempted to make from the beginning.

An assumption that an obese person has lifestyle habits both causing and stemming from insecurity and laziness could be shallow, but more often than not isn't. Fatness is an accumulation of poor decisions which becomes a walking display of how you live.

I know that, but the whole time i've been offering and alternative to your belief, and you've failed to grasp or appreciate it, so at this stage, I cbf re-hashing... I laid out my argument fairly clearly, and multiple times and you still disagree, or don't understand (saying i'm an idiot etc), which is fine, so we'll have to agree to disagree
pants party (while i'm anchormanning, why not??)

Again, I laid out an argument why this is fallacious previously... Basing any judgement of a person on their physical appearance is always idiotic imo.
Hal made the same argument as you've just made, and i noted that weight is different for every person, and assuming that all physical realities stem from the same source in every person is pretty silly.
social and genetic factors are the most important, but then there's simply the individual shit which makes us all different...ignoring all of this insanely intricate shit (which is different for every person) and just saying: "fat people are lazy lolz" is entirely shallow, since you have no understanding of why x person is fat.
I'm extremely skinny despite a diet heavy in fats and carbs and crap: 99% of people would BE gilbert-grape's-mum-level fat, but I am not. from your perspective bad diet, and laziness works the same on every individuals body...??
hahahaha that definitely sounded like i'm defending fatties, but really i'm just not sure how you can claim something that is entirely shallow isn't...?
at least admit you're just being shallow, and hate fat people for X shallow reason: Don't pretend like it's because of some deep social consciousness which makes you a good person.

Actually, this could be solved with just one observation: whether or not people are fat (or dating fatties, for that matter) is irrelevant to anyone except the people involved.
Though I did point it out to Jenny that her assumptions are somewhat misguided, you're not going to take the misanthropy away from her, Jordan (or, in this case "misaleiphaty", which is the proper term for someone who hates fat).
Can we go back to farting and Hegel?
Edit: Or, thanks to Swamper, we can now talk about how time just froze.
