It's hideous. Feature set looks interesting though.

Seems with each passing moment, gear designers manage to make DJing more and more complicated, and yet somehow it doesn't end up sounding much different coming out of the speakers.

Yes, Serato 2.0 will support up to 4 decks. Kind of odd though, you HAVE to have Serato supported hardware that can do this, which currently appears to only be this new mixer (and 3 decks with the SL-3).

I suspect they'll come out with a new audio interface sometime.

One of the few people I know who'll actually be able to make good use of this rig:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HdXjU9bbtw

In fact, I'd venture a guess that he had a hand in designing it, as when Serato first came out he told me his only disappointment with it was that he still had to play regular vinyl on the remaining two decks...

Sound quality? it's going to sound like any other digital mixer...

No analog freshness coming out of this bitch.

Do we know that for sure? The mixer portion could be analog. The specs don't seem to tell.

The Xone 3D/4D has integrated soundcards, but the mixer portion is still analog. This could be similar.
