I'm trying this OPERA 5beta... ain't going so well!

The download site couldn't detect my OS, so I grabbed the one for 4.7 or greater (which mine is)... and it's all wonky, only see the tabs, no browswer or anything...

Weird, dunno if it's just that site and while it's doing the speed test, but whenever I leave the browser as it's searching for something or accessing the site, I get lower case "edge" instead of EDGE... weird.

Yeah, me too... Just a alternative method. Like whenever the Facebook App doesn't work (like it did last week cuz the API when kaput)...

I even use it sometimes on the TOUR because it shows more information for things that you don't see on the application. ie. media or link wall posts, it's easier to comment on wall posts as opposed to it defaulting to a Wall to Wall conversation... and you can delete posts if you need to!

Not all of that... If someone posts on your wall, you can't start commenting on that post for a response, it ends up being a new wall post on their wall. And if you double post, or want to delete it, you don't have that option too...

But as I said, it's good for when the app doesn't work...

I run off the internal memory itself....only got 16 MB now....have been deleting useless apps after trying them and not being satisfied and 16mb is the best I can do....damn BB app world itself is about 3 MB


another beef about the storm is the caller ID picture size....theres so much screen and it can only show a 50px X 50px low quality ID? lol

But it amazes me the things that RIM should include in the OS and doesn't.

What 3rd party apps do you run? Douchebags on BBForums and Crackberry suggest uninstalling apps...I'd like to punch them through the screen. Really? All these apps available and I have to limit what I'm running because RIM limits app memory for no good reason?

Check out this theme...I scored it last week when he upgraded it, but CB made him stop "giving it away for donations" and sell it through Mobihand, which would probably cut his profit margin in half. I'm sure he'll figure something out in the next couple days...

Those 9 icons in the 3x3 grid hide when you tap that little triangle way at the top in the middle. And there's a Quicklaunch hotspot too. He also skinned all the native icons real nice. Awesome theme.
