Agreed.
Even though I jsut picked up a PSP, I'm still super satisfied with my old school DS that I pre-ordered.
DSI = stupid for most people, especially if you already have a DS.
If you want to hold music, just buy a $10 flashcart from dealextreme. Camera? Yawn, that's what your phone/blackberry is for unless you're 10 and don't have 1. These days, the 10 year olds pack sidekicks I hear.
I don't keep super up to date on homebrew and hacks, but I wouldn't be surprised if you can copy the DL only software to a flash card, removing the need to trade up your existing DS for a DSi.

Hey if I may ask, what do you do when refurbishing them?
It's implied that you reformat/wipe the memory, but do you fix whatever electrical or hardware problems? What kind of problems exist?

i'm afraid that there will be a lot of naked children on the dsi's at work (we refurbish them). that's my main concern. [/QUOTE]

actually, i kinda take back what i said before about the DSi
i read a little bit about it today and it ends up that it has 2x the processing power and 4x the RAM as the DS, and is slimmer. if it were cheap and if i already didn't have a ds lite i would buy one. /thinks of the homebrew capabilities
