Smoking ..umm..something THCs PSYde effects

I'm not sure if it's the Search feature is broken, or I'm crazy. Not a single person has included a Feuerhake track in any mix posted on this forum since 2002, or at least hasn't listed it in their posts.

That's why I decided to do a quick mix, and include what is probably the best track I've heard in the past 5 years.

THCs "PSYde effects" mixed by TwoHardCore
01. Etic - On Process
02. Perfect Stranger & Morax - Mountain High
03. Audiomatic & NOK - Using Light
04. Decoy - Fatty Finn
05. Etic - Ayoka
06. Audiomatic & Day.Din - Combinations
07. Ticon - Rip it Up
08. Fabio - From the Speakers
09. DJ Exanimo - Gravity
10. Feuerhake - Tic Tac ←
11. Ace Ventura - The Light
12. Amtrax - Atmoliner

I got all excited...

Then realized it was trance

Maybe I'll pass this on to my psyhead friend though

Not quite shure what you'd expect, being on a "trance" forum and all...

Well, I wouldn't call this the best mix for a psyhead, as there are merely a few Goa tracks, a few Progressive tracks, and a few that probably cross-over. I'd been working on a PSY mix, which was going to be called PSYde effects, but then decided to do a mix with Tic Tac. I just stole the set name from the other one.

Excellent set here! This is what true progpsy should be, not some new trendy electro crap. Awesome track selection (Etic is an awesome producer, Ticon from their golden days etc.). At some points the mixing was a bit ropey (for example the transition into Rip It Up)and thats my only remark but apart from that, it was a very nice mix. Thanks for suggesting it! More people should listen to it.

Thanks for checking this out Magadansky. I got hooked on Etic - Ayoka the first time I heard it, wicked track. I also really like Fabio - From the Speakers, which also came out in 2008.

The mix was put together just to get one of my favorite songs in a set, Tic Tac, as I'd never before seen it mixed. I'm glad you, a fellow PSY/GOA head, appreciate the mix.

Cheers,

THC

Thanks mate! Yes, I know everything is older, but I think it's a fun mix and you might like a couple of these tracks, like either Etic track or "From the Speakers".

Cheers.
