K so since it's been almost a week I figure it's time to chime with my 0.02 on DEMF:
Pluses:
-Really liked how it was organized. The location, people, etc were all great. I wish we had a place like this in Toronto to throw parties at.
-Carl Cox the first night was nuts.
-Some real nice eye candy, but it definitely was littered with hot women everywhere.
-May and Saunderson the final night were pretty good (albiet a lot of trainwrecking on May's part at the beginning).
-Loved the fact that the hotel was like 2 minutes from the party.
-The "I'm On A Boat" boat was MASSIVE. The cruise itself was pretty meh. The last 2 hours of Luciano vs. LocoDice were dope though; but that hardly makes up for the rest of it.
Minuses:
-there wasn't a single act that left me shell shocked. The music just seemed pretty standard to me.
-Beer selection was crap and prices were ridiculous. Damn ******s 
Overall I had a good but not great time. From the get-go the line up didn't really impress me but I went with an open mind with the hopes of hearing some new great shit. Instead it all seemed pretty standard to me. I guess it didn't help that for the past year I had my ear chewed off by how incredible DEMF 2008 was. It doesn't help that I'm feeling like I'm getting too old for this shit (props Eric, lol. I totally know how you feel)
7/10 and I may go back if the line up is good.
