PAXAHAU ANNOUNCES 25 MORE ARTISTS FOR MOVEMENT 2009
Paxahau to Promote Movement 2009 Lineup at Winter Music Conference
DETROIT, March 25, 2009—Anthony Rother, Benga, Glitch Mob and Marc “MK” Kinchen are among the list of 25 more names released today by Paxahau of electronic music artists scheduled to perform at Movement 2009 May 23-25 on Hart Plaza in Detroit. Last week the producers of the Memorial Day weekend festival announced an artist list of 35 which included Afrika Bambaataa, Bassnectar and Carl Cox.
“As I’ve said previously we spend a lot of time selecting artists and DJs that will appeal to electronic music enthusiasts,” said Jason Huvaere, president of Paxahau. “And I think with the addition of these 25 artists we have done a good job of putting together a solid mix of local and international performers to take the stages at Movement this year.”

The announcement of these artists comes as representatives from Paxahau head to the 24th Annual Winter Music Conference in Miami. This four day event is considered to be the premier networking event in the dance music industry, attracting professionals from more than 70 different countries. Every aspect of the industry is represented at this event.
“Winter Music Conference is our unofficial deadline to lock down the majority of our lineup,” Huvaere said. “We go down there to meet with industry professionals and promote the Movement festival as well as the city of Detroit.”
