Sidechain Compression in Reason: Kick and Bass

When sidechaining the bass to the kick so that the kick triggers the compressor on the bass is Reason what approx settings should I use on the compressor? Any input would be great

there are no standard setings....tweak the ratio and the threshold until it sounds the way you want it.

for me good settings are:

ratio 1:6 ; knee: soft;
attack: 1:0 ms ; release 150 ms
tresh: -20 dB

high ratio... maybe 8.

attack - instant

release - depends on kick

thresh - depends on trigger volume.
