Final Scratch, Serato, or Torq?

I wanted to start a discussion among those of you who have used any of these products, now that Torq has been around long enough for (what I expect to be) a fair amount of people to have experience with it. I have seen Final Scratch and Serato in use but haven't played with either one first hand... as for Torq I have looked at it online and I must say that the software interface looks pretty shit. Anywho, I'm not one to speculate, so please discuss, and express your opinions on which is better/worse and why.

Cheers.

i recently had the chance to finally try out serato and i actually liked it

interface is good, very responsive and i didn't notice any lag

depending on my financial situation in the coming months, i might be picking up a copy for myself

haven't had a chance to try out the other 2

Serato! Enough said. Do a search on it, there's tons of threads about this topic.

serato is the best pro choice.. by far.. but traktor scratch is coming out in may and that looks to be possibly a very sollid competitor, especially for electronic music djs. Given the features its going to be offering, it may be your best bet.. but its not out till may. Serato by no means, is anything to hold off on though, it is very good.

Hmm interesting, I didn't know about Traktor Scratch.

One thing that I like about Serato over Torq is that it uses a USB interface (powered) as opposed to firewire (unpowered if I use my laptop, and apparently firewire has hotplugging issues that can result in a fried port). Oh and another thing is Serato's GUI looks much nicer than Torq's, imo.

Serato does have Master Tempo. It's called KEY LOCK. But Serato is working on something better than Master Tempo.... PITCH N TIME. PNT is Serato professional "master tempo" plug in used in movie and music studios world wide. They are working on creating this for Serato. This will be sick because it will maintain everything very accurate. Woohoo I can't wait.
