I've finally got my dream speaker setup going. It took a long time to get eveything and build up to this.

I had fun the last hour or so looking through this thread and seeing how crazy some of you guys go in your homes.(As in it takes up everyday living space.) Then i remembered that someone in town here was crazier.

A guy in town got Soundmanshorty (www.systemsbyshorty.com) to mount a beast of a system in a 12 x 12 bedroom. Seriously who the fuck does that in their bedroom (12 x 12!). (Although i would kill my mother and all of yours for that console)

too bad the camera wasn't able to deal with the power of this thing in such a confined space..the videos dont do it justice.

I've been building up the system over years, but the speakers came together over the last few months. They are Altec A7's loaded with 416 altec clones made by GPA. They were in horible shape when i got them. They took alot of sanding and filling before i painted them white. On top is a solid mahogony smith horn that i recently go off ebay. Hanging from the cieling is a tweeter array loaded with JBL 2402's. The processing is BSS, and the amps are older crowns. I use an original urei 1620 and GSA x3000 for the front end of my system.

it looks pretty cool.. though i didn't get the chance to play around with it yet.. maybe tomorrow or something if i have the time!
