You dodgy bastard!
Best of luck though. From experience I know Ecler makes incredible mixers. The parts are exceptional they don't break they feel awesome and the sound quality is on par with A&H.
Obviously you are loving your new mixer!

only complaint so far is the "TAP" light button in the MIDI controller section keeps blinking and won't stop.. but its kinda trippy.. hahaha..
Hold down the TAP button for about 10 seconds....it'll stop flashing
Actually, to answer someone else, yes, it will send MIDI CLOCK, thats actually what its doing when its flashing like that. If you TAP that button, it'll actually flash at the beat of your tapping...and send this tempo out as a MIDI clock signal.
Otherwise, when you turn off the TAP, it is used to switch from side A to side B

I too have the Nuo 4 and use it with Ableton Live. It is a GREAT mixer, but it does have a couple things that get annoying such as the MIDI commands that the PFL and bass on/off switch send. You can't properly cue a track in Ableton without having to double tap the PFL button which is REALLY annoying. I have 2 channels of Ableton routed to the 1st and 4th channels of the Nuo 4 so I get to use the EQs on the Nuo which are REALLY good. The Nuo sounds really good, definately as good as an A&H which for $700 is a really good deal...but yeah if any of you guys are looking to control Live or Traktor, the Nuo 4 is where its at...for now.

Well, what I'll be needing from it primarily is the MIDI clock. As for the MIDI control, I'll be using a Bistream 3x

is the ecler nuo4 a wise choice even if you don't plan on using the midi controller?

I have not used one personally, but for the price ($750~) I doubt you could beat it. Everything I've heard from owners of Ecler mixers has been nothing but positive.

Nice pics Josh, gonna have to come round soon to have a spin on that Ecler, but you know your gonna miss the DJX700 I lent you, it made mixing......interesting..
Don't diss the DJX700. I still have one laying around. It's over 2 years old and it still works just as new. I know the EFX are shit, but for the money, it's the best mixer ive ever used for the cheapness in $$ of it.
It's very sturdily built and the actual mixer part, is badass. Seriously, I don't know why you guys rag on it so much. The EFX are UGH ASSHOLE yes I know but the rest is MINT for $150.

The DJX I have been using IS DannyO's... and its a POS.. the effects don't work (unless you like static screaming through speakers), the faders leak and cut out, the EQ's are shit, the headphone cue system is fucked up (on this one), the list goes on.. haha.. Its not a good mixer.. It's 299 at the shop here in my city, and for 300bux there are other mixers I would buy (and have) that are better and lasted MUCH longer..

Eh well I guess I got a good one then . The cue system on mine is fine, the EFX suck ass, the faders don't leak and everythings pretty fine with it. Never had a problem. Except when I took the faceplate off to try and mod the fader some of the BPM buttons didn't go in right and now you cant press them. I don't use them, but when you lock the beat it brings up more lights for my camera
