Felix, are you sure you wanna hang your headphones off the jack like that?
I know the headphones are relatively light, but be careful, you could damage the jack and/or socket - (given enough time and a couple of accidents...)
Nice unit though. If you wanted to, could you take out the drawers and doors and store your tunes in the shelves?

I just hung the headphones over the jack for the photos ;-) I could take out the doors indeed...but I have too few records yet so it's not wort it. Nevertheless there is the option!
When I have some CDJs I will probably take the Vinyl Case off the table and put the records in the shelf.
That's basically the set up I just bought, except the cases and the stands. Have to get myself some cases...already have some adjustable stands.

Those krks are more than enough for a bedroom setup.

Those krks are more than enough for a bedroom setup. It has great sound. It does lack some bass, but you can always add a sub to it.

Oh yeah, I have them in my family room and my neighbors sometimes knock on the wall to bitch. Really though it's just enough.
Oh and I'd like to add a sub just for fun later

A sub is fine but I think if your going to have them close to your ears, and use headphones as well...having a sub might be overkill. Besides, i've found (only have had them a few days) that when beatmatching on headphones, I'm having to turn the master down on the KRKs. Do you really want something THAT loud? just something to think about.

yeah, I'll only use the sub for parties.
Now that you mention it I usually turn down the monitor on my right. The side I use for monitoring.

Yeah it's hard to beatmatch with them close to your ears (if they are not turned down), but it's harder to EQ if you don't have them near your ears. So there's really no way to escape it than to turn them down. For small monitors as they are, they are quite loud.
